Day Pass Solutions with More Control and Autonomy

North American’s are not just ready but requesting more control and autonomy as they pull their mobile phone out of their pockets and look, book and pay for nearly everything and then access what they want without ever having to ask for help. This consumer behavior came upon all of us earlier than forecasted; it’s here to stay, and we are ready!

Camis has rapidly responded by developing a more autonomous day pass payment and facility entry experience. And while your guests can already pre-purchase entry passes using your Camis online reservation system, unmanned gated access is not far off.  Take a closer look at our solutions as we help your guests fast track through your gates.

Control Inventory and Schedule Access for Day Passes – Available Now!

Parks that use the prepay and pay on arrival solutions offered through Camis can put the control in the hands of facility managers, equipping them to determined when day passes are offered, how many timeslots are available and define the length for the visit. At-a-glance you can know precisely how many are coming and going for day use and can make decisions about staffing and other resource allocation and management. Additionally, you can ensure the traffic is comfortably spaced out for a safer and more enjoyable visit for your guests and the environment.

Pre-Pay Day Passes – Available Now!

Using your reservation landing page your guests can pre-pay for day entry passes. Field staff can determine how far in advance day passes can be sold and they can be purchased by the customer in advance or on route on the day of arrival. Day passes are automatically emailed to customers upon successful completion of the transaction and customers can print the day pass or display it on their mobile devices. A barcode is displayed on each day pass which corresponds with the real-time updates that your Camis system displays at the park. Park staff can rapidly scan to verify the proof of payment, or your visitor can scan at a supported automatic gate to grant access to the location.

Pay on Arrival Day Passes – Available Now!

In addition to online reservation settings, a secondary quota can be set for on location sales. This ensures flexibility for the unexpected with restrictions you control for capacity, time slots and length of stay, preventing over crowding. On location staff can facilitate the transaction or the solution can be configured in the future for an unmanned kiosk. Information such as vehicle license plate and party member information can be collected during the purchase which can be used to validate the onsite pass at will.

Pay on Arrival at Kiosk – Coming Soon!

Talk to your client care representative about the launch of our new onsite pay and display kiosks. Not only will these kiosks make it easier and faster for visitors, but will also free up facility staff to be more flexible and responsive to your onsite needs. When installed locally, physical kiosks can transmit data to the Camis solution to allow for a seamless integration with your reservation system. Pay and display machines can support locations that have limited or no on-site staff, ensuring compliance with park entry rules and providing customers an on-site option to pay for their visit. Pay and display kiosks are being piloted this year in select locations.

Permit Validation & Enforcement – Coming Soon!

As we move towards a more self-directed experience for your guests, your staff may not be monitoring every vehicle entering your facility. While some locations may be equipped with automatic gates others may not and may not have secured access. Enforcing the honour system of payment in these situations is one of the new solutions you can anticipate in 2022. Enforcement and capacity control will become an App on a handheld device making it easy for staff to check license plates and ensure that those in the park have a valid day or entry pass.

With these solutions in place park staff see reduced or non-existent lines and are freed up to be able to better plan staff and manage arrivals while also managing timing and capacity limits. Customer are placed in control of when, where, and how they can purchase passes. Autonomous pass purchasing options and controlled and enforced park access is good for everyone. Talk to your account manager about these options.
